Is it only me? I find it ironic that many IBMers and most clients have not been informed about this push?

Having said that, I actually believe most Mainframe clients will welcome this as it has been a while since they met IBMers they trusted. I think this has less to do with technical skills, it is more about honesty, intergrity and keeping one's word.

AK is a technical guy who admitted he doesn’t know what the sales team does. Going channels may cut fixed costs but it will make ibm the last product they offer clients.

Lately I have seen more and more clients signing up for services and requiring IBM to perform the services with IBM employees, no sub-contractors or partners… that kinda tell you the way this strategy is going… lol!!

The Business Partner program is in shambles right now. I don't understand this "Partner push" and how they say they're going to focus on it.
