Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

AT&T Billing and Customer Service is the worst

Moved all my service (cell phone, internet) to other carriers because Cust Svc lied too many times and too many billing errors. All I have with AT&T is DTV. After 4 years of emailed invoices in English last month it was in Spanish. Current month is back to English. What's up with these customer facing units - are our customers treated this poorly or am I just getting unlucky with CS and Billing???

If we can't handle customers right we won't stay in business

"If you’re an employee and you switched your cell service to another carrier, you deserve to be fired, period! "

What a proud little serf you are. I'm sure your fiery loyalty will be rewarded by our wise leadership. Bwahaha. Come on people develop a little self respect. They don't own you, they mere rent your time. You owe them nothing beyond the work they pay you for.

that not what he said radioscottie as your ability to comprehend seems a limited as AT&T services. He moved them years ago and kept DTV. Makes sense because U-verse was always geographically limited. His point was the awful customer service and billing and he is correct - we have all had bad service in limited use of DTV which is an excellent bargain at $10/mo. For customers though it is way overpriced

About 25 years ago I attended a District and above conference in San Antonio. It was the annual where we have been and where we are headed meeting. You know, vacation, food, booze, golf and a few meetings.
I was in the hall when (let's call him t-ED) and his entourage were walking up and tEd stopped in front of another District level that was on a Cell Phone call that SBC didn't sell. tED stops, waits and the
District hangs up to greet and meet. tEd says - whose phone is that? What service are you using? It wasn't SBC. So tEd takes the phone, drops it on the floor, steps on it and walks off mumbling something about supporting the company that provides your paycheck.

True story.

I get better pricing, better coverage, better customer service and more efficient billing with T-Mobile. I switched 13 years ago and am extremely happy with them and glad to be away from the poor service of AT&T. If you have the AT&T employee discount then your upper management has the right to monitor your phone usage.... AT&T management has no ethics! Think about how they can invade you privacy with that ability. Don't call in sick then travel out of town :)

Worst customer service ever. Cramming and jamming is the norm. It's unethical and illegal, but it happens on most transactions.

We have many techs on our team that use T mobile because it is cheaper than the AT&T 50% off plan...

If you’re an employee and you switched your cell service to another carrier, you deserve to be fired, period! I know a girl that worked for Pepsi and came back from lunch drinking a Coke and it cost her her job! YOU SUPPORT YOUR EMPLOYER NO MATTER WHAT! You may not like it, but who is putting food on your table and a roof over your head...get it?

It’s not just you . I have been there too! After the experience I couldn’t believe that we were still in business ! I thought if they are treating an employee like this , who KNOWS what the customer is going through ?
