Sell off
There is a case against NOV in the US where the business is not logging their assets. Which is illegal in Company Law.
Either way. NOV are pulling out of the UK. due to economic pressures within the UK

MUST READ GREENGATE. THE BELOW.

NOT too long ago a job application was closed for a “Low-Cost Sourcing Manager (Gateshead) CLOSING DATE 28 OCTOBER 2021”

NOV ISE Manufacturing & Supply Chain supports the requirements of the Wireline & Flowline, Pressure Performance & Cementing, and Coiled Tubing and Nitrogen Pumping groups. NOV ISE is a subsidiary company of National Oilwell Varco Int. (NOV) with a global footprint in support of our client’s requirements. The ‘Low-Cost Sourcing Manager ’, will continue to develop low-cost supply chains to service NOV ISE with an overall objective of making a material positive impact on EBITDA. This role will involve approximately 30-40% international travel where permitted.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Continue to develop ISE’s low-cost supply chain to support the ISE product portfolio
Continue to develop a low-cost supply chain strategy to improve working capital to include supplier call off agreements and consignment stock.
Lead the business on any outsourcing or major re-sourcing activities
Provide support to Engineering for product changes and new product introductions related to low-cost supply routes.
Work closely with the Quality department to ensure supplier quality requirements are met for Low cost supplied product.
Implement a low-cost product introduction process (PFTO & FTO).
Assist the ISE Procurement teams to take over low-cost supply routes once products have been signed off as low-cost supply.
Analysis of existing sourced and manufacturing routes vs potential Low-cost routes.
Provide value and impact analysis of proposed changes to each NOV ISE business.
Development of Low-cost vendors to improve on time delivery and or product/service quality.
Provide monthly reporting on group Low-cost spend and savings.
Estimate Project timelines for Low-cost initiatives, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in operations related discipline or equivalent experience. (essential)
Secondary Qualification in Business Operations or related discipline (desirable)
EXPERIENCE:

Proven e xperience within outsourcing. (essential)
Good Knowledge of Anson Products (essential)
Proven experience of identifying & implementing cost reduction strategies (essential)
Ability to deliver projects within budget and time constraints (essential)
Knowledge of Prince II methodologies (desirable)
Working knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering environments. (desirable)
Good understanding of operating strategy, P&L tracking and financial management (desirable)
SKILLS, TRAINING, SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE:

Demonstrable ability to drive projects through task allocation and influencing skills. (essential)
Thorough understanding of financial manufacturing operations surrounding order scheduling to include margin analysis and cost of goods sold. (essential)
Able to provide clear and structured methodologies making things simple for others to understand and replicate (essential)
Six Sigma Black Belt. (desirable)

Look clip board kid is not a manager, he is a charge hand, he has to answer to someone, he can not make any decisions without first running it by his manager. Sounds like someone is sh-t Stirling abit here, any decisions made obviously has a reason.
I will go back to a previous post I put on here and say, you have an issue go speak to him or his manager.
