Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

You seriously want to go back to the office?

Home is where the heart is...

If you hate being home so much that you desire to sit in a cubicle around strangers more... Im just sayn you need to change your home life.

If its people at the office that you want to see, why would you want to hang out with them in a work environment instead of a relaxed non work environment, doing non work activities?

Honestly I see no rationale reasoning a person would rather drive to work to sit with strangers vs being in their home spending more time with their families.

It will get your blood moving. When you go back to the office, use the stairs. Get some blood into the muscles.

A friend (at another company that is also an “in office” business) said she spends so much time commuting into work only to go into her office, shut the door, and hop onto zoom calls with people who sit in the offices right next to her. It’s a complete joke. There is no “in office” collaboration.

Home is where the heart is, if you're not working from home.
There has to be a clear division between work and home. Would you sleep in the dining room? Would eat in your bathroom? Would you take a s◇¡+ in your bedroom?

Work is where the money is to provide for your home.

MyWork worked fine...some roles were in office, some were WFH. Not sure why you have to backtrack

There is one benefit to the office. If you have a team and require that collaboration daily on an Ops team or something.

Other than meaningless we are an office culture message or a place to ask stupid question as said today by the big wig....it's just insane not to see the env and moral boost for many many many folks.

draw the line down the middle as hybrid...but the bank is too stubborn.

Work is an activity not a place.

I see no rationale either for commuting into an office in order to dial into WebEx or Skype calls because there are participants across the US or in India. Face to face interaction is totally irrelevant in this organizational structure... we are not Dunder Mifflin.
