Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

No more layoffs?

Since the PIP can be survived now it seems layoffs are over. Many are choosing to resign or take PIL but this is different from a layoff. Is the worst behind us?

Whatever, you obviously are a peon who figures he is competent enough to be a leader, but never will, continue ranting, let us know how that works out…

Manager mo_ron who really thinks that a company can replace experienced workers with new hires or basement level pay workers in other countries and actually get some results.
This type of post, including identical words at the end keeps popping up on many threads and is clearly part of the company’s push against what’s expressed on this site.
Looks like the article describing the Cube as a symbol of corporate failure has rattled somebody in Dallas, who ordered an counteroffensive.

If you ever need to see how the newly minted offensive of the corporate stooges looks like, this post is a great example.
Sure, you boot_l_icker OP, the PIPs are survivable - maybe from your point of vue, as the supervisor or manager applying them to others. And they are for the good of the employees, aren’t they ? And the PIPs aren’t layoffs, because HR has decreed so, and the company never lies?
Crawl back under the rock you came from. You really think your disgusting lies fool anybody ?

One central plant for many buildings with multiple tenants is very common. That is how Greenspoint was. The property Management at campus is mostly outsourced already to JLL. They are very experienced in multi-tenant management. Common area maintenance is factored into the annual budget process and rentals.

Sell the campus? Really? Who is going to buy something so big and expensive? Plus all the buildings services come from a central plant so dividing up the buildings to multiple clients would be very expensive. Sorry buddy, you are way off base.

Three more years of PIPs and 8% NSI along with NI for those with less than 3 years. We need to reduce headcount by another 12,000. Previously, those with 14+ years were targeted, now those with 10+ years will be targeted. We’ll thrown in those with less than 3 years to avoid lawsuits. This is to reduce headcount and at the same time replace higher paid employees with lower paid employees. We aren’t doing away with the pension, but no one will be there long enough to get it.

There will be a reorganization by December and areas will be combined, SLS, DH, and managers will be laid off in December. That will get the ratio of supervisors to individual contributors back to a realistic number. Individual contributors will be PIP’d again in July with another round of supervisor layoffs in December 2022. This process will repeat in 2023. Starting 2024, EM will be lean and mean and earnings will take off. Most of the work will be done in low cost countries, the Spring campus will be sold along with Research in NJ. EMRE and all research will be shut down. All research will be contracted as needed.

Personnel working in the plants will have multiple areas and will be working a lot of overtime to keep the plants running. EM will dangle the pension as a carrot to the next unsuspecting group to get people to work at EM. EM isn’t worried about high turnover since they can always hire more.

To the naysayers, prove me wrong.

You noticed that too? When truth starts flowing then bs posts start popping up like they want to suppress the real stuff

This thread is part of about a dozen of “feel-good” just launched by some remote controlled corporate troll.
We’re doing so good, the bad days are behind us, let’s just lay back and enjoy!
Shameless corporate propaganda that takes us all for complete re_tards.
The current PIP is not even over yet and people already have to think hard what to put in the next PADP form to avoid being the next “tributes”.
