So we have this flex your day policy. No good unless we use it. What are people doing with the flex your day policy? Trying to figure out how to maximize my use of benefits.

There was a time when in the Greenspoint buildings that many advanced their career by flexing their day at the hotel next door.
Take off fridays and smoke left handed cigs all day long.
I live in a different state because the greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist. Suckers!
I schedule all my meetings with global team members in the mornings and then come in whenever that’s all finished. I live 5 mins away and have no kids or anything. For me, being able to cook breakfast while in a meeting that I have to only mildly pay attention in is huge. Same with working out, to a degree. Most days I also can eat lunch before heading in the office as long as I’m ok having lunch and breakfast kinda close together (like 8 and 11). I essentially use what would be a lunch break to eat a home cooked lunch and shower/dress etc and drive to work.
I have a friend who does it different, he drops kids at school and comes in at 8:30, leaves at 2:30 to pick them up and then works on and off in the evening or on the weekend for a bit. Overall works the same hours as me and is available mostly during the week during the day, but gets all his individual work/training done during “odd” hours when his kids are doing homework or when his wife asks him to clean the gutters etc.
I show up to work at 10am and just complete my work whenever and leave. WFH at least 2 days a week. I work in Beaumont
I go to the gym at lunch time.
I’m wfh at least once a week using flex your day policy. I live inside 610 and usually have either doctors appointments for myself or my kids in town, or sick kids who cant go to school due to covid like symptoms Also lots of early work conference calls that go into mid morning so just take them all from home.
My boss does not allow flex days and my group is on call 24hrs
So all this for me is BS
I take Fridays for mental health days off and apply for jobs
