The Tide is already turning, not at IBM of course because we all know what the nefarious reason is for IBM to enforce the vax mandate. But a few other companies and other entities are already rethinking or delaying the enforcement of the mandate because they know it will be a disaster if they loose more employees.
Unfortunately for IBMers, IBM wants less employees.

Sigh Just get the SAFE, EFFECTIVE, APPROVED vaccine and stop endangering your colleagues and their families. If you've ever had a vaccine before, there's no reason not to get this one.

Why should people be given no alternatives? Do people realize how id--tic this policy is? IBM wants to force people's medical decisions on them? This needs to be reversed quickly
To all the vaccinated, have any of you given any thought to the long-term consequences of these vaccines? How they may affect you 5-10 years down the road?
I just registered my "authentic" card. If I get snagged, at least it will have been on my terms. Won't be eligible for unemployment either way So who fives a guck. They started this dirty pool game not me. I'll let you all know how it goes. Blame the game not the player
Just show them a real vaccination card and tell them it is fake. Then sue them when they fire you.
The Barfield office story is a complete fabrication. Presenting cards on site is not the process. Contracted security is not going there. And if you believe IBM analytics solutions work that well, I got a cloud for you to buy.
If your dead set on not getting vaxed then who cares anyways. Desperate people do desperate things. Get a fake card and roll the dice. What do you have to loose.
Do not be fooled by HRs scare tactics on this site people. There is no way to validate a vax card. Hundreds of thousands of doses have been and millions more will be given with no Identification required. Tracking is impossible.
How is that possible? You CAN'T enter an IBM office by just presenting a vax card. You have to register your card in the IBM Health Digital Wallet and the card has to be approved. You are a fake.
FYI To the person who keeps saying just download a card and be happy. There are consequences A person in my dept was caught in the Barfield road office last week with a fake card. She is no longer employed by IBM
First they came for the Statues but I was not a Historian so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Police, Military, and the Conservatives but I was not one of them, so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Airline pilots, Healthcare and Medical professionals, but I was not one of them, so did not speak out. Then they came for the Unvaccinated but I was Vaccinated so I did not speak out.
And when they came for me, there was no one left to speak out for me.
No response yet, they did update the FAQ to say it would be in the coming weeks.
I'm hoping it was a large # since the number of people who had entered their status was so small.
Nobody that I know who has 1) submitted an exception request or 2) emailed HR directly - has heard back from them. It's likely because IBM Execs and HR do not care about IBM workers or their families, but we knew this already.
