Associates that are in the office 5 days a week feel like they are being punished. The work from home people will be back before years end........5 days a week.

Non vaccinated will be called back in and cohabitated with each other, separate from the vaccinated. Good luck spreading “it’s just a common cold, Covid is fake” amongst each other in the 3x4 desk as you sit shoulder to shoulder. Queue the prayer warriors patriots.

If you read the BoA, JPM, MS, WFC, GS boards....you see constant spamming of the same identical messages.

That unvax will be laid off, that vax wont feel safe around unvax, etc, etc.

This is all nonsense from dr-g pushers. Unrelated whatsoever to the business.

For some, it seems like the unvaccinated are being rewarded by not being harassed to return to office. (or those who are vaccinated and won’t enter their info in the system -because it’s no secret that it’s NOT confidential by the way)
COVID spiked again and they denied a request to postpone an associates return when they expressed concern given the changes after their RTO date was set.. that’s messed up. Would have been a better idea to not share status until it’s mandatory.
They need to put the unvaccinated associates in a designated section of the building (different floor, tent in the parking lot haha!).. the lack of space across these low cubicles is ridiculous. Oh! And don’t get me started on the bags of supplies that last 30 days- but you can’t get additional after your 30 days- that’s IF you can even get a bag since they leave them in the lobby and early birds take all of them before the days RTO folks arrive. The lack of transparency regarding the plan has also been frustrating for onsite associates- not just those who refuse to RTO. It sucks..

Quick note - while it may not be obvious at first.
The Admins on this layoff site are at least anti-Vax, if not anti-Amurikan. Is that the same?

Certainly edge toward the latter.

Okay, here’s the deal….the people already vaccinated are going to put up such a stink if they have to work in an office with the unvaccinated. There is no way that the unvaccinated are RTO. It would be a disaster and unsafe.

Make your decision, but choosing to be unvaccinated is also risky because they can let you go for ANY reason, you are all employees at will.

The Bank has "strongly recommended" that associates upload their status once they're vaccinated, it is a recommendation... BofA has never issued a requirement for this. Any associate who is vaccinated AND wishes to return to the office is required to upload their vaccine status in the portal. Nowhere does it state that ALL employees are required to provide their status, regardless of what their vaccination status is.

People need to stop trolling with lie and misinformation on here. No one is getting fired over their vaccination status.

Wow...so much negativity, hyperbole, and misinformation.
would be nice if we could distinguish between what we know to be true and what we believe based on our thoughts about the bank's next steps.

  1. To answer the question...I have not seen any communication about when unvaccinated RTO timelines will be set
  2. all the comments about what the bank can know or does know and or is using if they do know is all speculation and extrapolation. Right now the only thing we know is that (in my area at least) they have only sent out the RTO emails to those who have registered their status in the tool.
  3. to the comments about not reporting in the tool being "Lying" to the company. That it patently untrue. We have so far been "asked" to load info into the tool. At some point an ultimatum maybe issued, but as of this moment the only thing stated that will be lost if you do not is $250 in insurance cost savings since they've added vaccine and tool update to for this year.

If the people already back in the office are vaccinated, no way they will feel safe working among unvaccinated. And why should they? They showed the bank they are loyal and want to be healthy and want to do their part to create a healthy work environment. The unvaccinated are owed nothing. You don’t want the vaccine? Fine, don’t get it, but don’t expect to get the same perks (health insurance, salary, bonus, shock options, etc) as those who got vaccinated. Go be unvaccinated somewhere else.

One of the quickest, easiest ways to get fired with no severance and no unemployment benefits is to simply lie to your employer.

Enjoy the job search to those lying about their vaccine status.

What’s comical is someone actually gets vaccinated and then is stupid enough to it lie to a bank, no less, about their vaccination status and then works from home because they think the bank does not know their vaccination status.

Good grief. Hope the future new hires have some common sense.

Every vaccination has a lot number which can be traced back to who got what lot, where and when. Anyone who thinks they can lie about this is clearly not seeing the bigger picture. So you got vaccinated and lied about it so you can WFH? Damn, hope you have no debt and you are a trust fund kid because your job security is next to none for lying.

If you have insurance, vaccination place will run your insurance (no charges) and your insurance company has record of your vaccine, which then is able to inform companies what the percentage of vaccinated employees they have at any given time.

I think many of you are going to be in for a rude awakening soon. You don’t lie about being vaccinated or not vaccinated. When you do, you out others at risk.

When you get vaccinated the place doing your vaccination runs your insurance card and your information is in a database that you are vaccinated. If you think your employer doesn’t know, you’re in for a rude awakening.

People are lying about their vaccination status all so they can stay home, tsk tsk. Guess what, your company knows via the health insurance they pay into to insure you.

If you think you can get away with anything, you’re delusional.

My bet is liars and unvaxxed are the next that are RIF’d

What’s comical is a the amount of people here that think it’s only unvaccinated still working from home. Shows none of you know and are just speculating. There are a lot of folks vaccinated that just did not put their info in the tool.

Management wants you to think you are safe until they can quietly replace each person who refuses vaccine. You won’t know because the unvaccinated are WFH and not allowed in the office. Management is not stupid, they are playing everyone so they can make plans for staffing accordingly. All the people (management) that seeds the rumors that talent is hard to find are simply not telling the truth. Lots of talent out there and willing to be vaccinated. Unvaccinated pose too much risk to RTO and the insurance will be too high to cover them in their benefits. Everything, and I mean everything is looped into this vaccine.

But keep reading the posts here and believing the unvaccinated are safe. You’re gonna find out soon enough.

If you don’t get vaccinated you can expect no raises, sh!tty bonuses, and no promotions. If you can’t understand what the long term goal is, you are probably better off being d-mb. I’d say by 2022 there will be huge layoffs.

The Bank has really got to meet people half way and allow a hybrid work arrangement if they want associates to update their vaccine status and RTO. 50% compliance in the portal but I’d venture 80% of US associates are vaccinated. Nobody and I mean nobody wants to be commuting back in an office 5 days/week. The initial RTO communications and misuse of the “confidential” portal eroded trust in the process by many rank and file.

BofA will not fire unvaccinated staff. They are hurting for talent.
There are so much trolls on here spreading fear about RIFs. I'm very close to this topic at a very large level.
I can tell you that the bank is approaching this by applying pressure like the health benefits, etc to nudge people to return to the office.

Those who say otherwise either know nothing, don't work here, are out of touch with reality and the big picture of all the above.

There is not even a thought entertaining RIFs because of no vaccine status. Bank is simply reacting to the environment. Once it is safer they will require return (however you feel about it) and those unvaccinated will undergo testing at their expense (this is coming soon).

So trolls take this as your facts and STFU about spreading misinformation.

@1xbu+1doCVCKZ

That is not practical or realistic. I don’t doubt they may eventually require vaccines for continued employment but they will give associates ample opportunity to comply.

Again, they are vastly undercounting vaccinated employees not in the portal due to their poor handling of the portal and RTO communications.

@nqc+1doCVCKZ

How? Easy, they will quietly replace the unvaccinated while they WFH. Then after they replace, train, RIF for the unvaccinated who are remotely working from home.

Quite easy. No one will ever know. Until RIF.

Last I saw, only about 50% of associates are in the vaccine portal give or take. How would BofA RIF half of its staff?

Been back in the office since 9/9, it's really not that bad. I still mask up 90% of the time. Fear and anxiety was unwarranted.

Nope. Vaccinated employees took a big leap of faith getting the vaccine to keep their jobs. There is no way they are going to suddenly let unvaccinated RTO. Too much risk involved and Bank won’t want the headaches.

No way the vaccinated will want the unvaccinated coming back to the office. All he-l will break loose. Loyal employees who have taken the vaccine will not want to risk getting COVID from unvaccinated. Ain’t happening.

Sadly, all the people working from home wont see all the new hires in the office (that are vaccinated), so they will be clueless up until the day they get RIF’d.

Your vaccinated replacement will be working in your designated office workspace while you are thinking you got it made working from home. Bank sure is getting the last laugh.

Layoffs are coming soon, as they always do. If you are not vaccinated, you are not coming back to the office with the vaccinated. Do the math. It ain’t rocket science.

No vaccine = no RTO = no job security

When they quietly replace the unvaccinated, you’ll be the last to know, but you will be on pins and needles until that day as they don’t say a word about your vaccination status.

One day you’ll get a phone call from HR and you wont be able to login.

The 12th of never. I suspect that the bank will start sending warnings to come back in at eoy and will mandate the vaccine first quarter. If you don’t get it and don’t have a valid exception you will be fired for cause. They are already requiring new hires to be vaccinated.

I'm not in the non confidential vaccine portal. If you're in the office you have announced you are vaxxed. I still have not received my 30 notice to return. I guess I get to continue to ride this big round ball around the sun WFH ride awhile longer.
