He should have shut up, revamped the company and than delivered.

Does he know he and the company are the joke conversation about almost everything!

But if you work there you can’t complain, lots of hot air meetings and promises. We all know how screwed up the companies manufacturing and silicon RD is.

Soon everyone will have 5nm and Intel will still be stuck on 10nm, changing the name doesn’t make the pig fly! Intel is going quickly down the path of becoming just like GM. The rest of the world has past Intel by using superior silicon manufacturing. Government billions will solidify the rot and inefficiencies built over the last ten years at Intel and unleash even ore rot and graft.

BoD FUARed it! They should have kept Bob, spun off the fabs and focused on seeing. Now they will have a bigger honken dead weight to spin off in 2025. Maybe as part of China bootlicking they can sell TMG and Foundry to China, LOL

Only a lunatic would equate Pat to BK at this point of tenure. I feel bad for you. But knowing how BK mistreated people, it would not be a surprise. Many folks posting here are suffering from BK PTSD. Don't dwell on the past. Look to the future outside of intel. If Pat is to turn Intel around, he will have to address the mgmt issues at some point but it needs to be done in small steps else he could rock/sink the ship. And a few have left since he came aboard. And hopefully, he knows that diversity can't win against merit in hiring and promotions. TSMC certainly knows.

@gvh - Problem is, the same bloated non-performing management structure prevents cleanup of itself, and blames everything on the worker bees, that get laid off and replaced with younger and clueless (but more diverse!) employees every few years.

Intel will go nowhere until it cleans up the large amount of nonperforming dead weight in its management structure. Their political infighting prevents progress and creativity.
