Will it be QA titles or Eng Assoc Managers?
Last year at this time it was QA managers who were let go

Surely , if you are a manager whose staff will be impacted , know the list by now.
Next year, those of us still around will all be automation engineers.
I thought we were a bank. They're passing out some job titles like cotton candy. All of QA is called a software engineer.
eh, hard to say. everyone seems to have an 'engineer' title these days, regardless.
since there are no expendable titles left, its gonna get fun when its time to shed engineers.

Unless you provide more information on this rumor I think we should just assume it's nonsense.
I can’t see that happening. I’m sure a few will be laid off, but that title was added as a management progression. Entry level will not be Engineering Mgr.
