Bonus information while selecting benefits

There were a couple of posts last year stating that we could see our bonus while enrolling for benefits.
Just wondering if anyone can still see it this year. If yes, would appreciate it if you could share some pointers on where exactly to find it.

Perhaps you are not getting an increase or bonus.

Last year my base pay went up $14k in 2021 benefits selection section when choosing my benefits for the forthcoming year. This year the same thing is happening, I’m choosing my benefits for 2022 and my base pay is now 40k more than my current base pay ( you will notice this when you choose your supplemental life insurance because the amount is based on your annual salary) . I asked my boss, she said I’m getting an increase, primarily to make sure I don’t go looking for another job. She didn’t have my bonus numbers yet, but she said it was going to be much higher than 2021 bonus.

Anyone else had basic life coverage less than their current compensation? The basic life coverage seems to be capped at 100k for me.

It absolutely is based off of 2022’s salary, as the group term life insurance is purchased in increments of 1x salary, 2x salary, 3x salary, etc. the salary used to calculate is for benefit year 2022, not the current year. Last year I saw my salary increase while doing my benefits. So I know it is true.

Year end rankings were not even due until October 16th. The benefits info came out before, so it can’t have next years salary info. It calculates current year salary and last years bonus to get your total. Side note - If you don’t get at least a 6% raise then you are actually losing money to inflation.

Or maybe that differential increase is you current salary and 2022 bonus added together. I had a similar situation.

You can’t see your bonus, you can see your compensation for 2022.

My salary says 40k more than I make now. I was changing my term life insurance from 2x salary to 3x salary and I noticed the amount was much higher, so I clicked on compensation tab and it showed my salary increased 40k starting January 1, 2022.

Basic life coverage amount - current salary was the bonus last year. If it is the same this year I do not know
