My Career Unimaginable

I wonder why grade levels have been removed from postings and search criteria? Why bother posting if you don't have a general idea of salary? Are they retooling grades again? Why are all of my job "matches" irrelevant to my skills and experience?
Artificial Unitelligence? or some hidden criteria in use by Recruiters?
I am pursuing outside opportunities now, but not for lack of effort. These internal mobility tools just don't work.

Not my experience at all. There has never been a strict mapping between title, grade and salary. There are grids but exceptions both up and down are the norm. Personal relationships when hiring internally are a greater indicator of future increases than any HR policy ever will be. The only attempt to straighten any of this out was when a tiny amount of COVID dollars were used to bring many clerical grades up to the minimum. The grid is also used aggressively against people who hit the midpoint.

If you are here long enough you still know the grade level for each title.

Lead analyst = i
Specialist = manger = J
Senior specialist = lead manager = k
Principle = group manager = L
Senior prin = senior group manager = M

But yes very annoying, and no filter.
I wonder who frequent this board is M+ lol
Doubt anyone got a M+ job just by applying

All the reimagined things are cr-p. The previous site was better. I completed my degree, experience etc... I hold a computer science degree still it tells me there is no match found... Must have been another of those innovative solutions.
