Nike looks great on a resume... Take your time at Nike and move on. They're simply not competitive anymore. Nor will they negotiate or want to if you're an ETW or FTE.
The final strike is wanting everyone to get back to the office for the "COVID pressure cooker". Let's be real.. They need the tax breaks.
The obvious propaganda in all meetings the last few months is beyond ridiculous about the “in person culture”
Workers realized they had the upper hand as a result of COVID and now companies like Nike are doing everything they can to convince you that what you're experiencing isn't really happening.
I just want to say that if you are against going back to the office or even against the vaccine mandate, I respect your stance. If you are anxious to go back to the office and pro vaccine mandate, I respect your stance as well. Bottom-line: there is not a one scenario that will, 100%, work for all of us at Nike. We, individually, can make our own decisions. What is not acceptable is to attack others with a different view than your own. Personally, I would prefer to stay remote fulltime. I know that is not an option so I accept the compromise - the hybrid model of 3-2.
I’m also out, going to resign early December and use all my vacation payout for a swoosh detox somewhere nice.
