Been around 15+ years. Earn a good salary. Bunch of PTO and the rest of the benefits. Health insurance isn't fantastic but I doubt it's much better anywhere else.
Now doing way more interesting work than in my previous position with the company. Wouldn't leave unless a better position comes around and if my number is up I'd get a bunch of severance.
In all the years I've been in this type of work people come and go, leaders want to add their "value". Ok, whatever. I'll deal with whatever we have to do and in a few years when they move on, the next person will come in with their own ideas. Rinse and repeat. I've seen so many reorgs, latest/greatest strategic plans, etc. etc. that it doesn't even really phase me anymore.
Short answer really is that there's no compelling reason to leave.
Pay is decent, 100% remote, 30 plus days PTO. People I work with are nice, 401k match, good benefits. Don’t want to start over.

Because I have been able to work from home for 21 months. Zero stress, lots of family time, no commute.
And Im making more in 2021 than 2020, which was more than 2019.
Why leave? Cushy as he-l man
it wasn't bad when I started here, had an awesome team and FT remote. Now that awesome team is dispersed in other groups, no more remote and extra work. I found a new job and will be gone in November. I will point out it is difficult if you're not in tech to find highly paid positions that are doing 100% remote, there's a lot of competition. It took me a solid 6 months to find this new job but did come with 50% more pay so I'm glad I waited for the right opportunity rather than just taking something I was originally seeing more of which was lateral.

I actually took a job here because I was sick of commuting. I quit a job I enjoyed to come work for WF since it was a completely remote role. I’m sticking around for the bonus and then I’m out.

Challenging work that keeps me engaged

- Good work/life balance
- Enjoy (or at least don't hate) most of the work I do
Plus I live in a non-metro area where it's hard to find comparable benefits.
Because they pay me to and give me over a month of paid vacation each year.
