Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Whoever wants to RTO and get infected is welcome to do so

Don’t force your ideologies on everyone else.

You’re no better than mini-nazis.

It’s a pandemic, not a long-a-s Disney movie that ya’ll are so sick of. Want to get sick, infect your parents, get your kids sick or shove them off a cliff, go right ahead - that’s your problem.

Don’t force me to do the same with my family. The minute I’m asked to RTO, I’m quitting. And I won’t even give notice.

Good luck doing my underpaid overworked job.

I know it's sometimes fun to indulge in fantasies, but you are NOT LIVING THROUGH A KI---R PANDEMIC. Look out your front door. I will WFH until they fire me, but I'm not getting a shot for a disease that probably doesn't exist distinct from the flu.

The desperation level of propaganda should be everyone's clue, but many seem to buy the story more when they see over-the-top levels of BS. No street smarts left on Wall Street I guess. Boy times have changed.

The bank actually sends you two covid tests to take. There's no juvenile little game you can play. You're not going to outwit anybody.

As the guy going to work sick. Just so you know the “covid game” doesn’t work. You call in unwell you don’t work from home. You use a sick day. Play the game of “I can’t get tested” for two weeks. They will get you a test. I had a co-worker say that and I was able to schedule a free test at CVS the very next day. I hate being in the office and I think it is unnecessary. But that is what I signed up for. I encourage you all to do what is best for you and your families. I personally feel that getting vaccinated is more important than your political affiliation. These liars telling you that getting vaccinated is more dangerous not are either evil or delusional. Don’t watch the news. Schedule a doctor visit where people are dying. Ask your doctor what he thinks. Not a lot of liberal radio hosts are dying of covid. Go check out SorryAntiVaxxer.com. All the same talking points you see here are echos of dead Republicans.

Just play the covid game. Tell them you are not feeling well one week and need to WFH. Then the following week, tell them a family member is not feeling well and you need to WFH again so you are not asymptomatic. Keep doing this over and over and over and over and over…..they can’t fire you for being sick. Just take their rules and learn how to use them to your advantage. You don’t want to get the office sick if you’re feeling sick.

Leave work early with a bad cough. WFH for rest of week with covid-like symptoms. Tell boss you can’t get into to see doctor until 2 weeks. WFH until you see your doctor. That will take up about 3-4 weeks. Come back a day or two, rinse, repeat. Keep getting sick. WFH. Simple. They created this mess. Make it messier.

They will want proof of Covid. Doctor’s note. Coughing out your gut won’t be enough.

Give them an inch, they’ll eat you alive.

Look at it this way, as long as management continues to come to work where we can actually see them, they’ll get sick.

Problem is most managers WFH and expect everyone else to RTO for 5 days a week.

Just tell them you have covid symptoms and WFH.

I’m vaccinated and still not in favor of normal return to offices. I know many employees especially in my group are in same boat. Bank must listen to our needs otherwise it will be problematic for many of us. Case numbers are already rising so it’s genuinely very concerning. Bank needs to do something and come up with better solutions.

I’ve been back to work since 9/9. I’ve been sick for the past two weeks. I just keep going in. Coughing and blowing sn-t all over the place. Not sure those temperature scans work to well either unless my thermometer at home is busted. Maybe a few dead will change the RTO mindset.

From the HR shills monitoring this board:

“For anyone wondering…

I work in HR and here are the dates

Nov 1- due date
Nov 2- letter of education (written warning) generated from Workday
Nov 9- Final written warning
Nov 15- termination

If you get a written or a final written it will impact your ability for year and bonuses so be aware.

If you get terminated they will make you not eligible for rehire and you will not get a severance.”

BOO-HOO.

Ever heard of “I need to stay ALIVE and be HEALTHY to hold a job?”

What good’s my job gonna do for me if everyone I love is in the ICU, has Long Covid or is dead?

Nice scare tactic.

Go ahead and match the action to the words. Lawsuits headed your way.
