Basic premise of so many posts

So many posts on this site go like this:

Every single one of the thousands of supervisors and managers in the company are the same and are bad.

Those bad supervisors didn’t do my ranking right or treat me right. They should have ranked me high and my coworker Joe should have been on PIP not me because I am obviously better than Joe. If I was the supervisor and did this Joe would be ok with it and not complaining like me because I would be a good supervisor.

All the supervisors are supervisors because of bad things they did. I don’t do bad things.

My supervisor takes credit for my work. Except when he doesn’t and gives me awards or praises me publicly on yammer or LinkedIn but that is bad too.

My supervisor stole my stapler from my desk and didn’t mail it to me.

I have no specific improvement ideas to share. I criticize but offer no specific alternatives.

If you are miserable my advice would be to do something about it. Recognize there are things you cannot change in life you either need to accept or move away from.

Complaining may feel good but doesn’t do anything to improve your situation.

You can't argue with people who refuse to see the truth in front of their face! Call it name calling if you want because I have given up on using logic with folks who deny reality!

@OP - it’s a LAYOFF site ! What do you expect to hear from good, hard-working people who were shafted by the company ? You’re either a troll, or a kook-aid drinking shill.

Don’t forget the “they accepted the job as supervisor so they are bad” comments because we all know if everyone would just refuse to be supervisors that would fix things.
