If too many techs leave, backlog will not be improving.
Priority customers will be slower repairs based on what groups in R&O leave.
Not to mention all the OEM and R&O that were already scheduled to retire at the year end.
Many open job req’s that are not being filled either due to unavailability of qualified candidates or bad reputation of Honeywell on the streets.
Also people leaving the ship to go to work at FMT in Missouri .
A perfect storm is brewing. I wonder how the ship will sail in rough waters ahead ?

such little grasp of basic data -
dear me if there are many antivaxxer muppets
in HW then the company has real problems.
70% breakthroughs! As mentioned in several posts below I'm sure glad that the traditional vaccines most everyone takes as a child actually work unlike the spike protein jabs!!
The data below is actually 1.5 vaccinated and 11.0 unvaccinated per 100,000. Formatting seems to get mangled when posted.
The news article does not take into account the percentage of vacced vs unvacced in the population. It’s really quite sad what this kind of manipulation of statistics is doing to people that are unwilling or unable to review and understand the actual data for themselves.
The UKHSA data actually shows the death rate/ 100,000 for a 55yr old:
-
5 for double vacced
and 11.0 for unvacced
I’ll take my chances with the jab.
@2rzd+1duGOrNt, if the vax works so well why do I have to take it so that yours will work?
looks to be another site for muppets -
the data they link to shows the
death rate/ 100,000 for a 55yr old:
- 5 for double vacced
and 11.0 for unvacced
incredible how thick some antivaxxer folk are
In September Honeywell Aero sent out a list of COVID vaccination rates for sites with at least 70% or higher. The list showed Minneapolis site (MN-17) with 100% vax rate. That really surprised people at Minneapolis. The following week leadership sent out another email that admited the error, but sent to Minneapolis site only. In their words: "Please note the current percentage of the eligible population that certified at Minneapolis is 65%. We apologize for the confusion this may have caused."
Only 65% vax rate, a huge difference to 100% that was reported initially.
Cooking the numbers is probably one of the greatest skill sets for management.
CDC approves fourth booster shot…
Get ready to roll up both those sleeves and drop your drawers in order to be considered "fully" jabbed (for now)! Merry Vaxx-mas!

COVID-1984 Layoff Mandates
CNBC: Business groups ask White House to delay Biden Covid vaccine mandate
"The American Trucking Associations warned the administration last week that many drivers will likely quit rather than get vaccinated, further disrupting the national supply chain at time when the industry is already short 80,000 drivers."

If some folks are leaving Aero Olathe and going to FM&T KC, that's a net win for Honeywell.
The margin on billable hours at the Kansas City National Security Campus is far greater that any Aero site.
It's already starting. Covid adverse effects and mandate nursing shortages are swamping ERs.
NPR: "ERs are now swamped with seriously ill patients — but many don't even have COVID"

@1psq+1duGOrNt, I hope your site leader at least gets his Jelly of the Month" club as a bonus. Not quite a swimming pool, but....
I bet the site leader is worried about lower output which equals lower bonus
Out of the original 157 on the list there are still just over 100 who are uncontaminated. That is why they are still promoting free jabs this week. Still hemorrhaging about 6 people a week. If most of the remaining aren't granted exemptions Cedar Creek will grind to a halt. Also for the eventual OSHA ruling, which applies only to companies with over 100 employees, allows for a testing option. Of course both the OSHA and executive orders will likely be overturned in the next 60 days.
almost everything I've ever read on this site has been wildly exaggerated. do I think some % will refuse? absolutely. do I think it will "cripple" HW? no.
what people need to remember is OSHA is still planning to make it a requirement, and if they do, all these people refusing will eventually be unemployable, just as nurses and other medical professionals who refused are now finding.
Industry asked for this in the first place so it is a sure bet if they ask for time they will get it.
None of this originated with government.
Likely just a few old timers who were about to retire anyway I would imagine.
40% of course there are -
poor poppet - time for your big boy pants
HR scrolling through the posts and pi----g their pants. The number is closer to 40% but wont admit it. Some will cave and take it. Others will leave. The rest are lawyering up and waiting for Dec 8 to file lawsuits.
I'm hearing these clowns spout a load of nonsense -
a couple will rise up from their moms basements and errr
do nothing.
Normal folk sensible folk will get the jab or leave if they want to express their freedom of choice.
hard of understanding clowns will keep spinning rubbish
10 maybe
All it would take if 30-40 people were gone and they were techs.
Not enough techs to cover that gap.
Imagine if the traditional Polio vaccine allowed you contract, spread, create new variants, and d.ie of Polio like the 2x, 3x, 4x mRNA breakthrough jabs do for Covid!
Dare we mention the tens of thousands of de.a.ths and hundreds of thousands of severe and crippling adverse reactions that are worse than the combined total of all vaccines over the past 30 years?!
Furthermore, why do the protected need to be protected from the unprotected by forcing the unprotected to use the protection that did not protect the protected in the first place?
1%? I don't even know 100 people here in Tempe and I can name 10 that are not complying. Once Hon realizes how bad it's going to hurt their Q4 they'll either have to extend the deadline or reverse this policy. Or we leave and the poor suckers that are left here just have to work even harder to do our jobs. Hope they like "mandated" overtime to go along with those jabs. Good luck training my replacement. I'll be happy to move on.
Now vaccinated have to take a Covid test next month for air travel.
That kinda blows up the federal mandate to be vaccinated if now the vaccinated have to take a Covid-19 test.
@brs+1duGOrNt I’m @bib above and faaaar from HR. But no idea what the real #s are. What are they?
Last two comments sounds like HR trolls trying to downplay the situation.
Rumors outweigh reality. I am hearing 1 percent from HR estimates. Much lower than doom and apocalypse the news is selling.
Define “significant number”?
