Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

When the return occurs

Honest post.

Vaccinated are not showing up. Maybe a few actually show up. The bank wants everyone to return but people sit three feet apart in many offices. They don’t require masks at desk either. So let’s say start of 2022 big push and people show up. Vaxed and unvaxed still spread virus. Someone’s gonna get sick and die from virus. Then associates will protest/walk out.

The bank hasn’t thought this through. My guess is by February 2022 a large walk out and protest will occur outside of a office and land on national news.

The bank is not following guidelines and providing a safe work environment. The rules have changed. The bank needs to update office structure. Condensed offices are not going to last.

my observation: people who are dying of diabetes are obsessed w/ their coworkers and c19.

why? lose weight and bring down that serum glucose, insulin and a1c.

leave me out of this discussion. whether i sneeze near you or not has no impact on why you are dying.

The open space/shared seating floor plan is ridiculous. Who wants Joe Blow sneezing and coughing right next to me. I know they won't do it because it's becoming the thing of the past but the cubicle plan is still the way to go in this environment. At least I have my own space so Joe Blow doesn't rain sn-t on me. I thought they were going to go back to cubicles because of this but I heard they are not. They don't care.

@uvm+1duWWKWF Is your comment meant as satire?

Where I am in CLT, the Bank is not adhering to federal, state, or local recommendations in the office. Mecklenburg county (Charlotte) actually has an indoor mask mandate that BofA isn’t following.

When I read this paranoia about the desks being to close and masks, I often wonder if I am the only BoA employee who passed high school biology. What on Earth could explain this level of misinformation?

I have had the same concerns, there has been a really unusual lack of detail and planning around RTO that is showing some very questionable decisions.

My work floor in CLT was provided with a revised floor plan that actually has our team working in a much smaller, more confined work area than pre-pandemic. It is mind boggling that they would have associates sitting side by side in an open workplace set up with no physical barriers or social distancing enabled.

Thankfully very few (less than 10%) have returned at this point, but it is stressful to say the least not understanding what a full office is going to look like. That's why I've been pushing HR and my manager for a hybrid work plan that will alternate different teams in and out on different days and allow those in the office to spread out.

People die every day. Just because that person was fully vaxxed doesn’t mean vaxx ki-l.ed them. Quit scaring people.

Someone already died that was fully vaccinated. Nothing was done. As long as people aren’t directly affected they don’t and won’t care.
