Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Paid hacks

It's clear the company now has people working on this site to change the tone and take over the narrative. It's like EM is afraid of the truth coming out. And it's not just HR and PG&A employees. It looks like they have hired outside consultants to become active on this (and other sites) to paint over the company's rot.

But we can't let it work. Let's step up the volume and expose EM's dirty tricks. People inside and outside the company need to know how EM management has treated so many employees like garbage, and how they trashed what was once a great company.

If you’re delusional enough to think that Dallas gives a sh-t what people say here, you deserve to be PIPed. Even in a well run company, which we are FAR from, Csuite doesn’t care what gets posted here.

Hiring paid hacks for something like this is not the EM way. The company does actively engage in social listening, so we...I mean they, are here for sure but that's about it...anything else would be too much exposure with too little up side. But who doesn't love a good conspiracy theory ;-)

Managers are unable to sleep at night. They do their job to feed their children and thir ego. Some of them enjoy treating others poorly as well, get a good laugh once in a while, “they think we never raised these issues?”

If you help hire any employee after this past year, hope you can sleep at night.

You would be surprised to know how many supervisors and managers check this site and how furious it makes them. For people who for a couple of decades got used to underlings who work hard to guess what they would like to hear and rank and file who never dare to say anything, being exposed to what people really think and the fact that they can say it freely is nothing less than traumatic. It’s enough for one big boss to get really angry and the company will do things that will surprise you. That if you can still be surprised after the things that the company has done in the last two years.

If you think the company would waste their time on a site like this then the trolls have won.

Employee here. Everyone has had more than a year to jump ship. If you hate it so much why not leave? Could it be that no other job provides the compensation you now enjoy? Yeah you have to put up with some cr-p but that is true everywhere. We call it a job not a fun. We aren’t in the fun business.

We can only hope you’re a paid hack. Otherwise you’re brainwashed to a pathetic degree.

No. I am just an employee not a paid hack. Not everyone thinks like you do.

Flattering you think I am a paid hack and am taking over the narrative though! Maybe I’ll put this on my PDS!
