Dataguide assumptions are low single digit raises on average...This means bottom half get zero and top half get 8 to 10%. Plus it is not a per person number..it is total payroll, so higher raises can be given if headcount is lower.

The trick is, increase our salary so we stick around till our jobs are “ported” to BTC or KLTC.

Instead of us quitting, they want to have the power to fire us at their will at a later date.

Dataguide is low single digits for all curves, with A and C the lowest. Can anyone reconcile?

It’s a good post. Not everyone reads each topic here.

And does anyone need your policing as to how often a post appears in a thread? Maybe there really is an em hired troll police active here now.

Now that I’ve escaped and a few other buddies have too, let me share what others are offering that you’re still missing on annually at Exxon even with a 10% raise.

  1. Profit sharing
  2. Company performance bonuses
  3. Merit bonuses
  4. Fair ranking system
  5. Commission
  6. 9/80’s
  7. Full work from home freedom
  8. Relaxed dress codes
  9. Vehicle allowance or company vehicle
  10. better compensation for traveling or rotating on locations.

All of these and more while still providing a pension (at times) and 401k (almost every company does this). I felt like a fool when I got my offer knowing I’ve been “okay” with base salary only. They say it’s higher but explain how I’m got a +30% increase even though I’ve received a raise every year I worked at XOM....
