Bonus Pool

Anybody in the know with respect to bonus pools? What is the distribution looking like so far...same song and dance that to reward others, you have to rob from existing?

The bank seems to be doing great during a pandemic. Even celebration emails of success and great work. However, your bonus will be lower than last year.

The “shared success” doesn’t apply for bonus again in 2021.

I heard it's even worse than last year...no specifics yet, but managers are told to "set expectations". Oh boy with RTO and this? What else can they do?

I’m being told 80% of last year but haven’t received the spreadsheet for my teams yet.

why would you pay a bigger bonus to the jabbers? seems illogical.

you could pay them zero, they have proven they arent going anywhere

save that $ and give it back to shareholders

Basically if you drank the kool aide and got your jabs, you’re getting a nice bonus.

It’s done in October not prior to mid year reviews like prior poster advised. HR sends spreadsheet to your site lead. It’s then passed down to managers who can make adjustments based on performance. HR gets final say though. Managers CANT make HUGE adjustments

I've got no unique or specific knowledge about 2022, but this song and dance has existing for as long I have been here (26 yrs) and I don't have any reason to believe that will change. Bonuses to be paid in Feb 2022 have already been determined. They do that every year and the decisions are made before we even get to Mid year reviews.
