Fun RTO Vids & A Raise!!!

Employees are leaving in droves and the desperate ploy to hold on to what they have is not going to fly. So sick of the BS lies they feed us in the Town Hall Meetings!

My wife had eight years with BNY, five as a manager. She is like a new person since she left last month for a new job with better pay and benefits. BNY is a terrible place to work!

The Town Halls are truly great comedy to all who are actually engaged.

It’s a hot job market. Even in Pittsburgh. Get out of that toxic place as soon as you can. I did after 19 years. Best I’ve felt in a long time.

Attrition has always been bad on my group on the asset servicing side, but it's through the roof the past 6 months. and i dont think we get many new job applicants at all. so we just remain understaffed. i dont see any plans from above on how to resolve the staffing challenges....

I wholeheartedly agree with you, @1bta - best thing that ever happened to me was being laid off two weeks before the pandemic hit. I'm now happier, healthier and richer since I didn't really spend much of my SUB pay and Unemployment Comp because everything was on lock down. Plus I had the satisfaction of donating my BNY Mellon branded items - mugs, water bottles, hats, T-shirts, etc. to charity.

The best thing that ever happened to me was when I was told my position was "eliminated". This place is a total cesspool with the worst management in the world. I miss not one thing about it.

Raise? I didn't get any raise. What did I miss?

I was just about to ask the question to see if The Great Resignation has hit BNY. I left the company a while ago, burned out, miserable with what the place had become culturally. I log in here every so often and I often see in postings how miserable others are. Please know you are not stuck! Even if it feels like it. There are a lot of jobs out there! Just take a look and see before diving in. You don’t have to be miserable where you work. You’ve got this! Now go! Look at the possibilities!
