In the past year I have put in Pto several times and last time ( I work in a smaller department) we had as associate out on Sedwick leave and told me they will take longer then needed so I was told I wouldn’t have my pto approved that I requested 3 months ago basically just two days and also days I requested months in advance again . This is the 4 th time this has happened to me . I never complain but it’s getting to much . I just need advice should I just leave already been with the company for a while . I love my team and everyone but it’s happened over 3 times

It has to be either approved or denied 7 days from when you put in for it. If it isnt open door it. Once it is approved they cant unapprove it. In our store no one is getting anything approved until after christmas. This is the busy season. Its part of being in retail.
Leave place is waste time
I once had to work during pto that had been approved about 9 months earlier because I couldn't find my own coverage. Of course, my MM was an incompetent, suck up, ladder climbing bi--h.
Use your protected pto.
Open door it to the market manager. You earned that time off and it’s not your fault your co worker is out. Also, requests off are supposed to be approved within 7 days of the request being made. It happens in our club ALL the time. Not cool.
Been there done that . On 6 occasions. 1 time I put pto in 7 months in a advance . And still wasn't approved 2 weeks after the date . U are being valued as worker. Not an associate . Find other employment.
