It is the SCIENCE of nature, that the sick and weak are left behind.

It is ok. You will be fine. Please do your part, not for your job, but for yourself and the people you love. I love the people around me more than myself. I got the vaccine for the people I love. My family, my friends, my coworkers, and my fellow everyday person that I walk by during my day. I want this to be over. Please get the vaccine.

Fear is understandable, but this pandemic is ki----g people. The vaccine is the way out. There is no other way to say it reasonably: Please get the vaccine.

Let me give a response to actual post. The poster is almost right. The executive order goes into effect on Dec 8th. Government contractors will need to have everyone vaccinated before any new contracts are signed or existing ones are renewed. Honeywell will still fire people, I mean people will involuntarily quit, on the Dec 8th date and blame it on the Presidential Order so they can sc--w people out of their 401K match. $500 bottles of wine for everyone. Well everyone on the leadership team.

Nevertheless, I support the POKE for those who choose to get it, it's a freedom of choice issue. I just suggest doing your homework and read up on the pros and cons so you can make an educated choice.

A bunch of inoculated people will be de@d by Christmas, but that only goes for people who took the shot earlier than about March. If you take the inoculation now, you may be able to spend this coming Christmas with your family, but hey, no promises.

I agree. It isn't about vaccinations. It isn't even about public safety. If public safety was the root question then the government would return to prohibition (261 deaths per day in US according to cdc) and absolutely regulate everyone's food intact to prevent obesity (worldwide 2.8 million deaths in 2020 according to WHO and a cost to the US of $147B per year in US according to cdc). Don't even start about smoking (488,000 deaths per year in US.) Note that covid ki---d about 790k people over the last two years. Many of those were afflicted with obesity or other comorbidities. That is roughly the same yearly impact as the legal activity of smoking.

So tighten that belt and fire up the still fa--o. The administration is coming for you.

My recommendation to all is go back and read emails regarding Honeywell policy and expectations if you want to remain employed at Honeywell.

It's fine if you want to take a stand. Just please go stand over there somewhere out of the way.

Oh the solution to all of this is "just get the jab"? So what, after Dec 8th things just go back to normal, pandemic is over? What about the millions of people that work for small employers or own their own business? Are they free to stay unvaxxed and put us government contractors at risk? This has nothing to do with the jab. This mandate will be followed by more mandates, mandates on domestic travel, mandates on where you can set foot in society without a vax passport and scannable QR code. You might as well tattoo a barcode on your forehead! If that's the world you want to live in to "feel safe" you better be prepared to fight for it because I'm not going down that road and the people that value their freedom like me are ready to take a stand.

Please just stop.
