2022 Benefits: a 600$ pay cut

Or 1200 if you are married.

Apparently the 600 you get from doing those silly virgin pulse activities is going away and being replaced with another platform where you get can WOW points worth a whopping 80$. And your spouse won’t get any of these rewards.

Am I missing anything or is this just a straight up reduction in benefits??

This might actually be the final nail in the coffin for many people on the fence about leaving.

They cap WOW awards for wellbeing achievements to just $80/yr for employee only (spouse unable to achieve any WOW points). $1800 down to $80 is quite the decrease. And its not like we even got a cool musical open enrollment video like facebook did!

Click on 2021 Open Enrollment Website: Designed With You In Mind. Still says 2021 but will bring up the 2022 info

Where are you guys seeing that info? I went to the My Rewards > Health page and there is nothing related to 2022 there.
As usual, it's difficult to find any information in that portal.

Great. I have stupid WOW points that are sitting there because I've never seen anything worth buying that I couldn't find cheaper elsewhere. Someone mentioned gift cards - I'll have to look into that. I would much rather have $1200 going to my HSA, though. It only took me 20 days to get my wife and me to 15,000 points in the VP app this quarter. Worth it for $300.

In addition to eliminating the Virgin Pulse incentives -- which could earn an employee up to $600 in HSA deposits (or up to $1,200 if married), they also eliminated the company annual contribution of $200 employee / $400 employee+1 into HSA accounts for anyone earning $100,000+ annually.

I don't even know what WOW points are...are they the credit "dollars" we use to buy the silly junk they hawk in their online store that all have the annoying BNY Mellon logo plastered on them?
