Just got offer $60k to stay 2 years, payable half next year and rest year after that. Different from annual bonus.
I'm hearing annual bonuses will be less, can anyone confirm what the are seeing in terms of how it's being distributed?

What is your band level?
Did they have reason to believe you are a flight risk? Do you have a specific skill not easily replaced?

Even more frustrated. Haven’t received this offer and in the know that bonus will be lower.

so ummmmm just who did you talk with to get that "retention bonus" was is just offer by your LOB? Is that for anyone within the Co or can a low totem schmuck like me get access to that?
Heard the same by someone in Payments but they got $40k vested over 2 years.
Actually, it has everything to do with vaxx. The world is changing. You will be required to be fully vaccinated to maintain employment. They will offer the best incentives (raises, bonuses, perks) to those who are towing the line (the vaxxed). What possibly do you not grasp about this? Get with the times, 2022 is fast approaching and if you think the world is going to allow you to work unvaccinated among the fully vaccinated, you are in la la land.

What LOB is this?
Tell them you’ll stay on board with a $200k retention bonus. If they can afford $60k, they can afford $200k. Get $120k paid now and the other $80k next year.
They want you, so you should be calling the shots here.
