What is your band level?
Did they have reason to believe you are a flight risk? Do you have a specific skill not easily replaced?

Actually, it has everything to do with vaxx. The world is changing. You will be required to be fully vaccinated to maintain employment. They will offer the best incentives (raises, bonuses, perks) to those who are towing the line (the vaxxed). What possibly do you not grasp about this? Get with the times, 2022 is fast approaching and if you think the world is going to allow you to work unvaccinated among the fully vaccinated, you are in la la land.

Tell them you’ll stay on board with a $200k retention bonus. If they can afford $60k, they can afford $200k. Get $120k paid now and the other $80k next year.
They want you, so you should be calling the shots here.
