What has happened to Sam's vision???

Sam Walton's vision is lost.

  1. Respect for the Individual

We’re hardworking, ordinary people who’ve teamed up to accomplish extraordinary things. While our backgrounds and personal beliefs are very different, we never take each other for granted. We encourage those around us to express their thoughts and ideas. We treat each other with dignity. This is the most basic way we show respect.

Boy, you people don't know your history. Sam Walton was not good, kind, or caring of his employees. Read a snippet of The Retail Revolution: How Wal-Mart Created a Brave New World of Business By Nelson Lichtenstein and you will know the truth about old Sam Walton.

They have harnessed the power of Mr. Sam spinning in his grave and the energy isnow used to power the entire western half of the United States.

Mr.Sam’s ideals died once his wife died… she was the last one to uphold what he wanted for his company . Now all the company wants is to make more and more money, doesn’t matter what corners they cut or jobs they eliminate. The company is getting worse every year, I don’t see it changing . I have worked for Sam’s/Walmart over 35 years and I used to be happy and proud where I worked. Now, I just do my work and leave when my shift is up . They have clueless managers running the buildings and even more clueless people running the company who are so out of touch of what it actually takes to work in these buildings. I’m retiring soon and I cannot wait !

The Walmart family is out and others are in charge. The culture has changed and will never be the same. The almighty dollar has taken over and these clowns making decisions have never worked in a Club and I would be surprised if they have ever stepped foot in one. Really a shame. Ruining the company.

The younger generation is more worried about social justice issues and climate change, no respect, no pride in their work, and no accountability, so sad 😞
