Honestly, the many cuts, lack of proper pay raises and promotions and the change in management quality (I don't want to do both my and the job of my direct superior) have all but ki---d my motivation. It's a chore to do anything these days. I feel like all I do is count minutes until I can be done. I'm not even sure how to shake out of it. I think many are feeling this but nobody is talking about it. Thanks EM, for ki----g productivity without even trying.

I can relate to what you are saying. Many of us feel that way. However It's not going to get better any time soon. SO the choice is rather simple. Just go with it and try to find some motivation or leave.
Bills have to be paid. Is that sufficient motivation?
