Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Nobody is safe at Fiserv

I know people who believe they're safe from layoffs. For some reason, they've convinced themselves they're too important or too valuable to be let go. Even after seeing people who are just as valuable as them let go over and over again. I feel sorry for them. Some if not all of them are going to be affected, I have no doubt in my mind, and they'll be completely unprepared for it. But I guess it's their choice to believe that and it will be their price to pay for it.

There were 4 HQ’s during the past 20 years at First Data. One was Denver. The entire office was canned or relocated in 2017. Same thing happened to large office in Melville NY. Frank had us count the cars in the parking lot on Friday afternoons - he hated the Melville crew. All this is evidence that the business can be doing well and you may be a solid or better performer but none of that matters and job security is zero when your CEO has contempt for his people

I agree, it is interesting looking at the stock charts. It looks like Fiserv's stock is about to drop more in the coming months. If Q4 results are not showing signs of improving. I'd expect it to drop down to $70 a share after the santa rally. It is squeezing as well.

Safety is a non-issue at this point. Fiserv will literally go under within a couple of years with the level of incompetence Frank brings to the table.
