Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Omicron variant is highly contagious and deadly. Bank of America must keep the WFH indefinitely. They need to keep employee safety first.

BOA must allow the WFH to continue until it is safe to return. This company needs to start taking the lead in addressing this. Where in the he-l is our CEO BM on this matter. He hasn't done or said a damn thing about this . This is absolutely a shlitty job on his part to keep quiet on this . We have weak azz leaders at this company. They keep on putting bullshlit on shlitscape everyday telling us how these phony azz employees can't wait to RTO. This company really has let me down and I feel totally embarrassed to be part of this shlit show.

It is amazing how many have been driven to mass hysteria. Then spend their time trying to rationalise it but failing.

all of this reflects one thing. you can now pick the news source you like and you can quote the source you like. Facts are Facts but unfortunately we now live in a world where you can choose to hear only what you like and choose to believe that information as fact. Our country is truly screwed, if we can't even agree on a source for the truth. I personally choose to listen to the CDC who says we simply don't have enough info on the variant yet. No panic...no alarm...wait for additional information to come out. In the mean time do what you think is right for you and your family but don't jump to conclusions one way or the other.

Read up on the Spanish Flu, same thing occurred. Virus mutated into weaker and weaker forms. Let's face we've been part of a giant scam for the prior 2 years. Interest Rates started going up and big tech went into full gear before the Nasdaq bubble burst and jumped on any random variant and did a full on media hysteria push. Why don't they ever talk about the huge jumps in other health related problems these lock downs have caused or the grave harm they've caused children but missing a year plus of school. This has been the biggest public health failure ever.

We all know the sports players have been toppling over because of the vax. This isn't even a mystery anymore, the trend is too obvious.

They were passing out and leaving their sport well before this new spoopy omicron megatron variant came out to get us, it's been months since sports career ends and deaths have been been reported on (albeit absolutely never on CNN, CNN thinks vaccines are God juice).

It is impressive how you who wishes to play with your toy trains and dolls in safe in you basement for the reat of your lives imagine they are “following science. Maybe a applying some of this interest in science years ago could have avoided you whining about your finsnce job now. Imagine how much worse the pandemic would have gone if that happened haha. Weak minds seldom lead to much good.

At least want to live for gawds sake and get on with things.

The main symptom is an elevated heart rate (which goes undetected). Which is why athletes and kids are dropping dead.

Let that sink in.

They don’t even know yet if this strain is deadly. You sound ridiculous when you jump to these conclusions before they’ve been able to figure it out.

Reading the data/science does not equate to
hysteria. This is a virus that has ki---d millions worldwide, a variant with 50 mutations is worth being wary of.

We simply do not know enough about this variant and it is wholly unnecessary to risk lives and place people under undue stress when we can return to wfh for the time being.

I say this is a fully vaccinated person who has been going into the office. (Since people love to make assumptions)

I’m not taking any more shots. I will wear mask but no more shots. My body my choice. The government and businesses need to share information but allow choice. Seems like they are gonna use this to push the osha mandate

Just stop complaining. Get the vaccine. The same people complaining about working in the office are probably the same people going to the malls and eating out not wearing a mask.
Just stop.

If people are truly scared, that is one thing. If they are using this to get a permanent WFH, work somewhere else.

Doctors actually in South Africa who are hands on in the hospitals are pointing out they are only seeing mild cases and insist there is no need to panic nor isolate them globally.

Hysterical does not mean you care about your life.

Same poster - dead giveaway was incorrect spelling along with poor syntax.

It’s 500x higher infectious advantage than alpha. No one got anything confused, your arguments are simply surface level and it’s clear you don’t have much knowledge on this front, or in general. I’ll read the peer reviewed journals while you stick to online forums, writing multiple posts putting people down for caring about their lives.

You are 5,000,000 more caring than people who can think for themselves lol. You are just one big number of a dribly mess. If you go back to work can you let us know how many times you cry?

The mild symptoms quote has actually been taken out of context. The doctor said the symptoms have been mild in the population she was treating which was young, healthy males. We won’t know for sure how deadly it is until a couple of weeks out. Furthermore, if this variant truly does have 500x infectious advantage which is what the preliminary data says, then it doesn’t matter if it’s “milder” since it will affect more people.

Lastly, positivity rates in South Africa went from 1% to 30% in two weeks, and hospitalizations in Gauteng have tripled.

It’s going to take a couple of weeks to see where this really leads, but to take literally one quote, which was out of context, to say “everyone chill, it’s mild” is wrong and can result in more lives lost.

It costs nothing for leadership to say we should all return to WFH for the time being until things get sorted out. It makes us feel safer and leads to goodwill.
