Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Can we get an update?

If you know any of the folks who have been laid off in the past six months or you are one of them and you still read this board, can you please tell us how the job search is going? How many have managed to find a new job by now and how many are still looking? I know people have talked about this before, but it would be nice to know how things are progressing as time goes by.

Did you all open up your linked in profile in order to start receiving recruiter offers?

Software Engineer, found a new job pretty quickly with a very large jump in pay + fully remote

Job search was relatively easy - LinkedIn did most of the work for me. I took a few interviews to completion, and then selected the best offer for me

Non compete clauses are impossible to enforce in a number of states. Even then, as long as an employee was not poached, or you're not stealing clients/proprietary information, you should not worry. Good luck.

Had a couple offers or near offers within two weeks and bailed out. Why stay with things the way they are? Market is on fire; it's the only silver lining to everything.

@mlf+1e3wxYAX I've always heard non-competes are impossible to enforce. But if you really got laid off (you didn't say, maybe you quit) I'd have to imagine it would absolutely be null and void. No?

Please share what type of position it is that you are applying for. There is a big difference in low skilled phone support and high skilled software developer

Took 17 interviews but I got my offer. And a nice pay increase, plus all the benies that have been slowly taken away. Oh, and I’m going to work for a company that supports remote employees. At this rate, the grass is greener.

A recruiter reached out to me on Linkedin, and gone through about 10 interviews with the same company, and waiting for an offer letter.

I work in software engineering and had an offer within a couple of weeks (via LinkedIn). Technically there could be some conflict due to the non-compete clause but I don't really care; Frank really has no ground to stand on given his destructive actions as of late.
