Exec Comp not tethered to Share Price

Tethered to goals of patching up what you destroyed. Borrow and buy for $100, sell for $65, left with $35 in debt. Get commissions on both ends for screwing Shareholders and presenting it as strategy. Anything in place to stop Stankey and Board from another $50-$100B boondoggle? George Carlin could have done a standup tour entirely on ATTs absurdity and audacity.

At a shareholder meeting after the worst quarter in 13 consecutive quarters, Uncle Ed was asked why top executives were still getting large bonuses. Ed said they were giving them out because it is hard to keep good people.

Why do you expect justified bonus structure?

Technically you are incorrect. Much if executive comp is paid in stock. Not that it has helped decision making. Maybe if we hired Ivy League graduates to run the company instead of some buffoon from Oklahoma we might be in a better position.

Correct - Ratty and Stink's Compensation is not tethered to anything - rigged to pay them out no matter what these I D I O T S did or do.

Maybe Blackrock and Vanguard, our two biggest shareholders, would finally kick out the Toxic T BoD when it is released that T is anti-Climate Change, and one of the largest corporate users of electricity in the country. And T has not budgeted ANY Climate Change initiatives to change that. Just like Blackrock and Vanguard went after Exxon for Climate Change. But they won't go after T's BoD for sheer incompetence.
