It worked very well for Husky indeed. Getting rid of complainers and dead weight and finally being able to deliver something was refreshing vs dealing with country clubbers..

I don't want to talk to Kirpal in some derelict building in a New Dehli slum housing a sweatshop IT helpdesk/CRA scam operation. Forgive me. Once everything is accounted for, the savings with off shoring IT is negligible vs. keeping it local. Been there done that. Desperate move by management.

There has to be local IT people who need work and who are white. I want to speak english and wait online for 30 seconds vs. taking 15 minutes to get a resolution from someone sweating in Mumbai.

The person who posted this is probably from IT/Finance who thinks it did not work for other companies !!! Such a funny belief !!! You guys in IT/Finance has no benefits to the company but wasting resources and money in useless meetings everyday. Smart scammers in India will get the job done in a minute with one tenth of your wage !!! They learnt their duties better than useless people of IT/Finance in HSE !!!
This is good news for the rest of sectors in the company if they move IT/Finance to India :) They can manage a lot of costs this way!!!

SW and JH are talking about this option, but I also heard it’s only for repeatable and routine processes such as compliance activities and system maintenance. IT has already outsourced a portion of operations to India. I sure hope it’s not more than that!

Ironic that it was a Finance decision to outsource for cheap labor. Now they are the ones being outsourced. What goes around comes around. An age old adage that will always ring true.
