Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Keeps getting worse

Rumor is all of you who got 'promoted' last year and did not get your raise to go with it, and were told you would be made right in 2022 - it ain't happening......

Also a rumor that this dump may be considered a "gov't contractor" for the sake of vax requirements. So, while they aren't giving raises, making us go back to the office all on the same days, heathcare is worse, and they can't fill open positions, they may be losing people due to a vax requirement (for a shot which doesn't seem to be working too well) - there is an exemption form on the HR sight for those that prefer not to get the shot.

Remember - our health and safety is their top priority when they force us back to a crowded office and can't get healthcare due to terrible health coverage.
Lets go Todd!

Agreed he didn’t make 13mm prior, but he had to wait for the raise.

And my other comments were tongue in cheek, sorry they came off wrong and I was down voted.

Sorry, but Todd didn't make $13,000,000 per year before becoming CEO.

If people are already doing the job, why give them a raise? Todd took on the entire Bank without getting a raise!

Very few people are leaving the firm by choice, so let’s keep pushing the bad towards our employees……there is little cost to the firm …..people are so company loyal they just don’t care. And management knows this.

Todd too

I am glad I am out of there. They did me a favor by letting me go in early 2020. I benefitted more than thought would ever know. I gave my heart and soul to BNYMellon for many, many years.

They cut cut cut.
Do you know much richer senior management is this year due to the stock but they squeeze every nickel out of the workers.

Note that in the fine print of the 2022 enrollment, it says that Anthem will no longer cover 100% of Covid-related medical events like it was done in 2020 and 2021.

How is that even possible?

If BK is a government contractor they would have to pay prevailing wages and would have to hire more minorities.

On the promotions - you’re right. That did sadly happen.
