Kickstarter email went out today. It's basically a cattle call for software services ideas from the rank and file. At the end there is the reminder that if you contribute an idea that becomes a financial success, only DA and the cronies will get any real compensation out of it. This reeks of desperation, just like the pathetic incentive program for RevCogs programs. If I had a great idea for a software services product, I wouldn't give it to Honeywell. I'd start my own company and eat Honeywell's lunch.

My brother once submitted a plan that saved his company 10s of millions. He got a couple grand and a certificate.

I participated in something like this years ago. Lost in the Finals, got a call from a flunky VP to present to kinda important VP afterwards. Turned out, the idea was already funded and the flunky was chewed out on the call for not knowing the investments already funded. The whole thing was a fail on so many levels…
