What is happening with NSG phase1 closing? Why it is taking too long to close the deal? Why NSG employee can not move to other intel groups, does this ban of 6 month makes sense?

NSG engineering is excellent, even with the loss of the tall fellow. Don't miss the transgender fellow at all....
On the other hand, one could legitimately ask Why Intel? The very best in industry and clinging to parent company (I know OP did not make both claims) cannot go hand in hand.
The ban only makes sense to NSG/SK. Employees will always want flexibility. Having a wider array of options (although from a comparatively small BU employees becoming eligible) couldn’t possibly hurt Intel. I’m sure with the best lawyers money can buy you can skirt the labor laws to come up with such rules.
@nqf+1e8mN6on, any basis for this speculation beyond the fact that it’s taking long? Given how little he’s spoken even of Optane, I believe this might be one of the very few places where he’s so on board with previous CEO’s decision that he’s barely if ever thought about NAND

NSG employees have no interest in moving to other Intel groups. NSG employed the very best engineers in the industry, unlike the clowns at IAG and TMG.
