Vax Mandate Deadline Approaching

With bargained employees being less than 90% complaint on the coming Vax mandate, will the company actually follow thru with their threats of termination? Will they really essentially fire more than 10% of their workforce? I have a feeling they will back off last minute.

So I know of a company that has 95 employees and they are not subject to the dictatorial mandate. WHY ? If this was such a disaster then all would be forced to get the shot . Congress is exempt too. And the judiciary is exempt. This is all about control of the majority of Americans (not illegal immigrants). Watch to see what the Supreme Court rules . Those on the court that vote for the mandate need to read the Constitution. Only Congress can make laws, not the President or OSHA.

Get rid of 10% of the malcontents, improve the company. Win-win. Make AT&T Great Again.

Anybody notice that T is not requiring customers to provide proof of vaccination before they pay for services?

It seems if the desire of the company was truly to have everyone vaccinated they would not be hypocritical in doing business, either they deal only with the vaccinated, or with everybody, no matter if they are customer or employee. I seem to be really good at spotting the hypocrites. The behavior sticks out like a shark fin in a kiddie pool.

This is just a convenient way for T to get rid of a lot of employees without the stigma of their mis-management causing lay-offs.

Dr. Robert Malone posted this link. He is the inventor of the mrna vaccine.

It seems that more people are dying not from covid but the shot?
If that is true then stanky may try to hire us anti-vaxers back to fill those critical job openings.

In answer to the original poster perhaps they're planning on losing 10% of the bargained employees. Big money saving, possibly even not having to pay settlements etc., Basically not getting vaccinated is just like handing in a resignation notice without all the hard work.

Nice. AT&T letting workers choose vaccine or work at somewhere else.

Couldn't of said it any better than @onn+1eB1ewEN. Russia & the far right are causing chaos by using propaganda to mislead people about the vaccines. Get vaccinated. The majority of hospitalizations are among the un-vaxed, who are taking away hospital beds from patients with other life threatening conditions. Get vaxed, or say goodbye to your career!

I mean, it's either get vaccinated or test weekly that you're not COVID positive, and do you think T is gonna be covering your tests?

You antivax hysterics are the biggest hypocrites on the face of the planet, because you've been vaccinated your whole life for various diseases (diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio, measles, mumps, rubella, and typhoid) as pretty much every state in the union mandates these to attend public school, but this is the one where you draw the line, because your buddies, who have a collective IQ of 67, shared some Russian misinformation on some Facebook meme and you bit on it, hook, line, and sinker.

If you're that d-mb, I can't wait till you get terminated, because your stupidity is likely holding other people back from their jobs here.

For those that stay, remember to file a grievance for every customer you are asked to enter their home and they are not vaxed. Filling with your state labor board should be done also. All because the vax doesn’t keep you safe from the unvaxxed. Same mentality that the company uses to justify the need for you to get the vax.

Supreme Court is nothing but the Koch brother’s court and won’t surprise me a bit if they rule in favor of corporations. They are bought and sold.

If this was a real pandemic do you think we need the courts to rule on anything? This is about money, power, and control. Plain and simple.

Make them fire you and you will have these later because there will be lawsuits.

Nothing but scare tactics plenty of companies out there that are better managed and don’t break the law.

After all the things the J E R K Stink did to employees, you really think he is going to pass up firing large numbers of US based employees for free, no severance payments, and the Stink won't pocket yet another eight figure bonus for his fantastic work?

Ratty, Stink, the Bod of Misdirectors and HR Bondlie Ratbert is laughing at you naivety! You are a F O O L!

Then you are just a troll and have not worked here the last seven years at Toxic T!

Not complicated to enforce since this is a company policy. Sounds like a great headcount reduction initiative, 10% reduction without having to declare a surplus.

States have their own laws illegal federal mandates cannot override state laws you know the way the California has to have their own labor laws and the company has to abide by them. Read the constitution it’s all their we are a republic not a democracy. Pretty genius system our founders really thought things through.

The question “Will they really essentially fire more than 10% of their workforce?”. The answer, if it is in T best interest than, yes. So the real question is, do the numbers work in T favor? If so, expect them to follow through with termination threats, Regardless whether the vaccines work or not or what the courts say.

I think the unions should ask the company to reconsider, because after the Delta variant, it became clear that the vaccines don't prevent transmission of the virus.
https://twitter.com/CNNSitRoom/status/1423422301882748929

Now that we're in the Omicron phase, the vaccines are even less effective. What the vaccines can do is prevent symptoms. This could have the perverse effect of causing asympomatic, vaccinated people to report to work and spread the virus, where unvaccinated workers with symptoms might stay home.

And then there is the issue of intermediate and long-term side effects. If the company can hide under the skirt of a federal mandate, that would be one thing. But if that mandate winds up being unavailable, the company could be held liable for side effects years after the vaccinations.

The Supreme Court hears arguments this week on reinstating the stay on the OSHA mandate.

Anybody's guess what will happen, they will probably be laid off.

I think it is very odd that they don't mess with the people that take every second of fmla every year and 6 months of full pay dis-ability every year for their entire career but they threaten to fire people that want to come to work every day.

Morale of the story: If you don't want the layoff to get you, be a disability and fmla slug.
