Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Working here is not worth it anymore

This company is out to grind us up but it also expects - or better yet, demands - our unwavering loyalty. All that while laying us off constantly and treating those who are being let go like dirt. So why in the world should I or anybody else stay here? I'm sick and tired of being treated like cr-p.

Good god EMPATHY is the word peoples… except for millennials, in which case they do mean apathy.

They have zero apathy and the employees seem to be afraid to speak up. I am voting with my feet!

Before you vote with your feet you might consider the following…

  1. Replace your “Zero Apathy” (LOL) with engagement
  2. Have an actual conversation with your boss who likely has already written you off as disengaged
  3. arrive at work no later than 45 minutes after start time and present some new ideas to your management. Managers love to hear new ideas. You have no idea how valued you could be… or you could simply throw it all away,

Your (not Yore) LOL,

I have never worked for such an awful management team who micromanages you to complete daily unrealistic goals. This will all lead to burn out. They have zero empathy and the employees seem to be afraid to speak up. I am voting with my feet!
