Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Things are not getting better

They are still hoping to push RTO by the 18th or soon thereafter… do they seriously think things will miraculously get better in two weeks? Or will it damage their fragile pride telling us a more realistic date when cases will ACTUALLY be subsiding and NOT just starting to take off (could be February or March according to charts). I really don’t get it. Also…did anyone catch how Frank’s WFH email refused to address the severity of the virus and instead made it seem like he was giving us a nice “Holiday Gift”? Just admit you messed up by forcing this “Great Return” and are now (surprise) having to retract everything because of your narrow and non-forward thinking. If they still force RTO by the 18th I will be p-ssed.

We compared the in office work productivity to Christmas week working from home productivity. Clearly you are more productive in the office. Therefore I was correct this whole time. I do not have time for questions. Now get back to work (in an office).

I could see this being done. I mean, what a better way to prove productivity to a high vacation time to a low vacation week, but use the same employee base. Of course with higher absenteeism productivity would be down. Lol

@dog+1eC7JwN7 If your comment isn’t a joke I hope you realize numerous studies have been done that show remote work actually increases productivity. Employees are happier, less stressed, less depressed, and avoid commute and toxic office culture. I’d advise you to read up on these studies and educate yourself before looking foolish. But you’re probably just another corporate HR shill. It’s shocking that a tech company can be this backwards and even more shocking some people support it. Instead of embracing how easy and streamlined technology makes remote work, Frank-serv’s absurdly antiquated ways directly contradicts its “fintech” core. I’ve never seen a company so confused and inconsistent. But okay, yeah, how about you get back to work in your stuffy, dismal, cesspool office cell and have fun.

Knowing Frank, he rushed RTO so that he could gather Sapience metrics. Now that they have a few weeks of data, he now wants to gather Sapience metrics during WFH in order to compare the two.

Either that, or he was caught handing out expired swab tests and is having difficulty sourcing fresh ones.
