SAS in Clifton NJ isn't faring any better. After spending nearly 3 years fecklessly destroying a thriving business, the director of operations left in October 2020. Human resources is on it's 3rd manager in 2 years. After being acquired by Harris and merging with L3,, this former ITT electronic warfare business is in rapid decline. Experienced employees have been fired, demoted or driven away by incompetent, hostile micromanagers who have lied their way into positions in which they have no experience. The department of defense would do well to distance itself from this company. Our national security depends on it. There is too much at stake.

"Please, only one donut per employee."

EXACTLY.
This is what we were told in Grand Rapids during our "holiday party" ...
one little Chick-fil-A sandwich per person.

PATHETIC.

The top tier are looking to cash out. The rest will get a donut.

Well, let's see... they closed down Sarasota (dumped the work in Grand Rapids who was already backlogged and poorly managed) and that tanked... so, they'll probably repeat the same in their stupidity playbook because it's easy.

Who really cares?
It's a company that's in a downward spiral. The execs will milk this one until it's all dried up, and then leave the carcass for the lower employees to deal with. So relieved to be out of this place.

Aviation Systems was pretty redundant to Space and Airborne Systems. Makes sense to combine segments.

The reasons are obvious. They are preparing the business for a merger or an acquisition. L2Harris has no future.

L3Harris Technologies Inc. LHX, -0.54% announced Monday an realignment in which it reduced the number of its business segments to three from four. The company said the move follows a portfolio shaping process that began in 2019, and emphasized on "high-growth, technology-differentiated businesses." The defense contractor's three segments will be Integrated Mission Systems, Space and Airborne Systems and Communication Systems. The fourth segment that the company had been reporting on previous earnings releases was Aviation Systems.
