Well it's that time of the year again for this cr---y company if you can even call it a company. Are you on pins and needles wondering if you will make the cut or get cut? Next week will be a year for me and though it was difficult after so many years of being employed at the bank it was for the best for my health and sanity. After being treated like I was just a number and that I should feel lucky to have a job I'm glad it happened. Best of luck to those foolish enough to want to stay and congrats to those who get a package. Happy New Year!

Several folks within Pershing have been laid off this morning. Sketchy details so far (shared by my manager); and i frankly really have no idea how widespread it is.
No useful information in this thread. No big shots here, we are talking one row of cubicles max. Get a grip people and move on.
@2gza, don't know how you've been there but once the bigshots start leaving you know something is up. Then again you think everyone would have seen this coming but you assume everyone knew who he was. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out.
DH resignation was long overdue and many don't even know who he was. Many were happy when he left Pershing to go over to the bank. He had a personality of a corpse.
How is DH's resigning a sign of things to come? Anyone that didn't see that coming was living under a rock.

Though it's not a big loss, word is out that David Hopkins resigned today. If that's not a sign of things to come this month then what is?
I felt this same excitement on Christmas morning when opening presents. I hope everyone gets what they want this year!
