CL 24 128K
EMIT, CL 25, $180k
Share?..he-l its written on my f&@*ing mask
Didn’t know that CL level was a thing until a few years into working at ExxonMobil. Someone told me that I should ask my supervisor. When I did I can tell she was uncomfortable telling me.
Who the he-l cares? And why the secrecy? Salary should be commiserate with the type of work for the industry. Promotion should be based on an individual’s readiness and interest to take on the roles with broader responsibilities. In the Hay system, know-how, problem solving and accountability are factors that determines the Hay points.
So is CL linking up with the jobs for the industry? Or is it a made-up system from the last century because management thinks we know better?
Yes. CL 26, $178k.
I share before I am asked. It is a part of my elevator pitch and intro. Money is everything and I will sell your soil and body parts for it. This is why they refer to me as an EM Hippo!
Yes, more power to the people. I share first and my colleagues often share theirs. More power to the people

Yes, share and join the movement against corporate greed
Why hide? It’s minimum industry wage.
Sure. Why not? It ought to be posted on a website somewhere. In every company.
