T benefits claim I owe them $1 for January 2022. Three weeks ago I sent a check for $1 along with an completed authorization form for automatic withdrawal monthly for this premium payment. What a joke, T has already spent more than they saved by forcing retirees to start paying for this benefit. They have put me on notice, if payment of $1 is not received by 03/01/2022, my Careplus benefit will be cancelled. I only keep this to pay for my lasiks procedure in 2022.

WTF does this have to do with LAYOFFS? You're one of these whiny and ungreatful retirees who believes the company owes you cradle to grave benefits. Count your blessings you have what you do... how many others retired from other industries can say they recieve subsidized medical, HRA funds, telecom concessions and several other perks? Hate the company? Please ask them to STOP all your retiree perks outside of your pension. Don't accept them. Id--t!

I was also threatened by T, they claim I owe a dollar for careplus, if they don't get my dollar by 03/01, they will cancel my coverage. Sure sounds like a threat to me.

OP here, just an observation of how a trivial $1 charge for Careplus can generate threats of cancellation if not paid by 03/01/2022. T is just being stupid over a dollar or two. I want my lasiks for free and I want it now!

This is Toxic-T where economics don't matter. If Ratty can waste $5B on TMOB, and Stink $100B on TW buy high, sell low - surely you cannot expect anyone to care about the cost to recover $1 from a retiree?
Another example. If you are a new retiree, and you forget to check off "paperless" during your retirement process, Toxic T will spends hundreds sending a huge crate of paper that will give your UPS delivery person a hernia. A paper copy of every single SPD doc will be delivered to your door step for you to try to shelp to the curb for recycling!
