I am sending more and more applications in the hope that I will finally be lucky enough to leave this place. I'm a little worried and depressed that I haven't already received an offer.
Anyway, I intend to leave before they show me the door.

I’d rather be shown the door with a severance.
Walk Out Like AB but without the peace sign!🤣
Milk them for every last penny and then have a Mariachi band escort me out with a serenade on my last day.
Exit strategy? You obviously need to get the boot for not staying on topic. This site is layoffs related... stay on topic dang it
retire at 65
I intend to be shown the door.
Retirement eligible now. I have a part time job already and they would like me full time. Pay is less but affordable and it’s something I enjoy doing. Waiting on some numbers from my financial advisor.

I'm doing very little, lost my passion for the work I do and don't care about the company anymore because they have proven over time that they couldn't care less about their employees...just bottom line overhead to exec management. Just lay me off, please...that's all I'm asking?
Smile. Wave.
Stay in the middle of the metrics.
Play stupid.
Be polite.
Try to run them out of money.
My friend is doing nothing in hopes of a severance. Lying flat or whatever, do the bare minimum.
If it works out he will get six months and unemployment benfits then find a new job.
