beating a dead horse on this topic....no one cares. Any leader that had loyalty to JD will get the boot real soon.

Arnoldi was just a pretty face with zero telecom experience. Her destiny was sealed when her mentor or ???? Was ending his tenure. He was not named as Randy’s replacement and then left. Arnoldi needs to go back to being a small company level 1 systems analyst. As a low base pay!! Another of the long list of executives adding no value. Look at the Sommers organization, all empty suits!! 3 years ago sommers said work from home would never work. Sommers wake up it worked!!

In response to to comment about the band.

I remember that event and thought the very same. That was at some annual meeting where folks got together to strategize, etc. Fancy / expensive event during a time cost cutting was at the top of everyone’s list.

Trust me STEM degrees do not get you anywhere at T...MBA in business now that might.

Biggest thing that stands out to me is being TOLD to reduce and cut budgets and during the height of it Arnoldi holds a division meeting with a Live band whooping it up on stage behind her... Love that we cut budgets so she can hold a huge in person meeting at some expensive venue , hire a Live multi piece band for a meeting - yet another do as I say, not as I do

She has no concept of what it takes to be a leader at AT&T. Another "stuffed shirt" at T.

Think back, has Arnoldi ever done anything or accomplished anything since stating at AT&T.Been running on fumes from day one and has never gotten any better. You could kick her to the curb tomorrow, she would never be missed!

" If you are a female or any minority with any type of STEM degree, the sky is wide open to you "

This is true for leadership in any group now, just substitute the STEM degree for an MBA.

And I am not a racist, sexist mouth breather. I fully understand the white guys have had their time.

But when you promote primarily on s-x and/ or race, and only secondarily on skill and real world experience, at some point it's going to catch up with you.

I know Arnoldi and she is as d-mb as a lump of coal. Horribly misplaced over network. What a terrible decision. On her watch, IT got worse and worse which is why we got rid of well over half of IT and now outsource so much to Azure and AWS. Very few people at AT&T know how our networks actually work or how to build and run anything. All you have to do to move up is look and sound the part and avoid making any enemies. If you are a female or any minority with any type of STEM degree, the sky is wide open to you. Recipe for disaster....
