Cases are 1mm a day, hospitalizations are sky high and hospitals are buckling. It shouldn’t even be a question at this point.

This pandemic is going to last for a while, at least 3 more years considering the virus mutates a couple of times a year, becomes more infectious and less deadly and eventually transitioning into an endemic seasonal opportunity for pharma to milk it for the long run. So, the best way to tackle the problem, considering that in the northern hemisphere fall/winter is the peak season for spreading the virus is to work from home from Sept through April and have some kind of hybrid for the remaining of the year. Hopefully the mandate will be found unconstitutional and we'll get back to normal faster and avoid the mass hysteria caused by its implementation.
We get another week for now. It seems they want to dole it out little by little.

Got an email telling me that if I’m being told to return 01/12, it’s being delayed until the week of 01/19 unless it’s required I be in, at which I’m obligated to test for a negative result before returning.
