I have something personal going on and I wanted to take Personal leave I called Sedwick they said it is allowed and it will not be paid but my manager just has to approve the email . I feel my manager won’t because she is always talking about how we are short staffed but we actually have enough for our department . Can someone advise me on what to do ? I am thankful for any input

Sedgwick most certainly does approve personal leaves. I was out on personal leave for 9+ weeks and it all went through Sedgwick. All I had to do is let club know how much pto, ppto or legacy time I wanted to be used each week. You can use pto, ppto or legacy time if you still have legacy time.
I believe you should be able to use your PTO.
A personal leave is totally up to the discretion of your CM. Sedgwick does not approve personal leaves. They approve medical leaves. I would suggest talking to your CM about the reasons why you are requesting a personal leave do that it is more likely to be approved .
You will be short handed if you're gone and others want to go on vacation.
If Sedgwick approves it ur manager will have no choice. But u have to have a good reason for it and be already past ur 90 days.
Quit and get yourself a real job at a company that appreciates its help.
You should have already put in for it instead of asking strangers and trolls on the internet.
Your manager may say no, but they may say yes. Remember you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
