Sedgwick approved me for 2 weeks paid Covid leave after testing positive but manager is telling me it’s not. I have documentation from them saying approved. I’m so confused.

Check with CDC guidelines. Sedgwick gives you 2 weeks leave, covered, which you can extend if you need, just like before. If you weren't better after 2 weeks, you can extend it 3 or 4 but after that first 2 week point you won't get paid. Now it is the same, except company only pays 5 days now.
Think they are only paying for five days now for covid but I think you could be out as long as you need as long as you don't need to get paid
Sedwick will approve your time off but you will only get paid the 5 days now not the 10 days as before. Your boss cannot tell you when to come back you can extend it if you are not feeling better and your job will be protected
Ask your manager to email you to come back sooner than the date approved or else put it in writing somewhere. Just say you want some documentation to show that your coming back sooner was based on your manager's request.
Same thing is happening to me. I was approved by Sedgwick and both my teamlead and manager told me I can come back. I sent them screenshots of my approved leave and said I would be back on the day Sedgwick said. I was told to just change my date on Sedgwick website and come back.
Follow Sedgwick. The manager cannot make you come in to work once Sedgwick approves your time off. If you do come in to work after Sedgwick approved your time off you could risk your job. If you are in California call the California State Labor Board asap.
Good luck.
