I apologize in advance for asking a question that is not directly related to layoffs, but I wonder if you too are frustrated that you work in a company that is a bit technologically outdated? It never ceases to amaze me how badly this company is run.

Just like their outside plant cable/milk it till it rots away!…..never replace the 1930’S lead cable…..f..k the customers! 1.5m Ipco cr-p service internet…..
screen scraping=robotics
Att prides itself on outdated technology. The would still be selling rotary dial phones that you can only buy at att. But hey they have uam lol I can’t say that with a straight face.
29 yr’s now, I’m just here for the money, Outdated technology can make you a lot of money if you know how to play the game. I stopped caring 15 yrs ago, but I don’t show it,
no stress when you don’t care anymore.
Kind of hard to take your post seriously since you failed you failed to provide any context surrounding “Outdated Technology”.
how funny... you think AT&T is a Technoloy company. Just a service provider folks.
Just keep your CDC vaccination card up to date. That’s a new system.
Don't forget the RPA (robotic process automation), it is the latest craze and super high tech, copy data from one place to paste onto another. These geniuses never bother to ask the question as to why the same data has to exist in multiple places.
The MBA geniuses in the c suite don't have it in their spreadsheet, therefore it's not actually a thing.
Welcome to at&t.
Wanna see some archaic stuff ? Look at the system we use to track orders in the company. Once an order is placed, it cannot be changed. One must cancel the entire order. Makes alotta sense huh. The system we use is right about 20 yrs old.
Their outdated systems, equipment and rules have made me hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Smile.
Wave.
Profit.
This because they used multiple contractors to build their systems. It would take a wizard to try and mesh them together. I knew this when I retired.🤪🤪😱😱
